Liquid silica gel will undergo curing reaction after encountering curing agent or catalyst. According to different types of liquid silica gel, it will be cured into solid silica gel with different hardness and different properties.
Liquid silica gel can be divided into:
1. Mold silica gel
Mold liquid silica gel is a new type of molding material. Compared with steel mold, silica gel mold made of mold silica gel has great advantages in production efficiency and manufacturing cost. Today, mold silica gel has been widely used in toy and gift industry, medical, electronic, mechanical fields, character reproduction, home building decoration industry, unsaturated resin handicraft industry, simulated animal and plant sculpture, Buddha carving handicraft and other industries.
2. Pad printing silica gel
Pad printing liquid silica gel is used to make pad printing rubber head. It is mainly used for the printing of plastic toys, electroplating products, electronic toys, trademarks and irregular patterns. In addition, one is the potting adhesive for LED, which has the characteristics of high transparency and high refractive index.
4. Silicone hand board
Hand board liquid silica gel, also known as the first version of silica gel, is usually used to make hand board models. Compared with hand board oil mud, hand board liquid silica gel has the characteristics of wear resistance and strong resilience after curing.
5. Silicone adhesive
Silicone glue is what we usually call glass glue. It is also a kind of liquid silica gel. In the process of using silicone adhesive, curing agent is added disorderly. When it meets water molecules in the air, it can be cured into a tough solid, so as to achieve the adhesion between glass gaps. The cured silicone adhesive has the characteristics of weather resistance, vibration resistance, moisture resistance, odor resistance and large changes in cold and heat.
6. Silicone support for clothing signs
After the liquid silicone of clothing label is solidified, we often see the silicone label of clothing manufacturers. Using liquid silica gel to make clothing signs has the characteristics of good hand feel, wear resistance and high production efficiency.
7. High temperature silica gel
Ordinary high-temperature mold silica gel used for making silica gel mold can withstand high temperature between 200 ~ 300 ℃, while high-temperature liquid silica gel used in aviation, bronzing and other industries can work at 400 ℃ to 1300 ℃ for a long time without performance change after curing.
8. Human silicone
Human silica gel is a kind of liquid silica gel with low curing hardness. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and has no adverse effect on human objects. Therefore, it can be implanted into the human body and is usually used to make artificial limbs. It can also be used to simulate characters, etc
